Technical Coordinator

We are looking for a Technical Coordinator for a company currently executing a large infrastructure project in Stockholm. You will play a vital role in the flow between design and installation. If you are driven by following up and ensuring that projects are executed correctly, then we have the position for you.

Who are we looking for?

• At least 1 year of experience in infrastructure and construction planning
• Understanding of installation, experience in assembly work, general interest in installation
• Experience from large project installations
• Competence in BIM and information coordination
• Good understanding of work methods and models
• Good system proficiency in MS Office, ProjectWise, AutoCAD 3D, EWA
• Strong knowledge of technical Swedish and English
• Driving license B.

We are looking for someone with a good technical aptitude and some experience in project management, which gives you an understanding of how work is planned, followed up, and driven forward. You have a strong ability to create structure and can handle large amounts of information without losing overview or quality. Attention to detail is a natural part of your work approach, and you place great importance on details while planning and organizing your work time effectively.

As a person, you are patient, responsive to changes, and flexible in your way of working. You are communicative and enjoy collaborating with others while taking personal responsibility for your tasks. You show clear engagement in your work, take initiative when needed, and have a strong desire to learn new things and develop in the role.

What does the role entail?

• Based on approved documentation, divide work packages into respective operational areas.
• Depending on the system, break down into smaller packages to facilitate installation groups.
• Ensure that the equipment to be installed is available for ordering and enter the equipment into the system.
• Check and review that all components have been handled before entering into the system.
• Break down the material list based on the equipment list.
• Enter component IDs based on the system and equipment.
• Input documentation, assembly drawings, and lists.
• Tick off complete work packages, transferring information to the installation group.
• Coordinate with installation regarding the prioritization of work packages.
• Collaborate with BIM to monitor the completion of documentation and document changes in a structured manner.
• Continuously conduct site visits to understand completed installations and photographically document.
• Take necessary initiatives, driving the work to success based on the timeline and installation order.

You will belong to a team where everyone works together and supports each other in the problems that arise in everyday life. You will be part of a team with other designers/engineers and report directly to the Project Manager of the design team.

The position starts as a consultancy assignment via 2Complete for about 6 months, with good opportunities for transition to a permanent position directly with the client.
